こんにちは。院長の宮地俊（ミヤチ タカシ）です。

今回のダイアリーでは当院の名称の由来をお伝えしようと思います。

DENTISTRYは「歯学」と訳されます。医療を単なる困ったことを解決することだけに終わらせるのではなく、治療テクニック、機材（アメニティー）とコミュニケーションを科学して、皆さまがいつまでも健康で美しくいられるよう考えて参ります。

TOKYOは私たちのベースとなる都市、世界でも有数の情報発信地、世界の基軸通貨を生む文化、経済の中心地の象徴です。

そして、時間をさかのぼり、私の祖父が初代の歯科医院を1925年に東京都神田区（現在の千代田区）三崎町で開業したことが資料からわかりました。

SINCE 1925 MIYACHI SHIKAは“ここTOKYOからDENTISTRYを世界に発信しよう”という想いをこめてつけさせていただいた名称です。

Hello, I am Dr.Miyachi, leader of this clinic. Let me introduce the name for our clinic.  

The First word “DENTISTRY” means that we are not only applying medical and dental practices but going for approaching on scientific point of view based on good technique, authentic instruments and heartfelt communication.  

And the second “TOKYO”. We’d like to constantly send our messages from one of the biggest city all over the world.  In the history, our first dentistry by my grandfather started in 1925 at the center of Tokyo. The concept of our dentistry has been still in our concept of dentistry. 

DENTISTRY TOKYO SINCE 1925 MIYACHI SHIKA (shika means dental) is now started into the world !
